Fallen.

When you pass through the waters I will be with you; and through the rivers they shall not overwhelm you; when you walk through fire you shall not be burned and the flame shall not consume you – Isaiah 43:2

How should we interpret the Bible? - Common-questions - BioLogos

Falling, I felt his breath of life
Jesus Christ the faithful witness
To him who loved us dearly
and freed us from our sins by his blood
A Father to those without hope
That they may arise in this new day
And see how bright it is in Christ

Falling, I heard his voice of reason
“Fear not, I am the first and the last”
the firstborn of the dead
Behold, he is coming with the clouds
and everyone will see his face
All tribes of the earth will wail
Loudly on account of him

Falling, I felt his touch of healing
the King of kings, Jesus son of God
Lighting my soul like a flame
and in that flame my life became warm
Then tears found my eyes like a heavy fall
Crying for my sins of this world
Afraid of the keys of Hades

Remember then from what you have fallen
Repent and preach to the nations
Of men and women
the gospel of repentance
Those with ears, let them hear
and those who will conquer
will dwell in the paradise of God.
