“There are no goodbyes for us. Wherever you are, you will always be in my heart.” – Mahatma Gandhi

If I should turn my head, your sweet lips,
Would kiss me from the door, so a short time,
Your silent steps must wake up across the hall,
This is a difficult and unaccustomed key,
Here is our bed just as you left it in the morning,
You must be here and I almost laughed to think you are now gone to glory,
Yet now before I laughed and so was still,
I remembered how lost I have been in your Love,
How will I close my eyes when you are not around?
For you, my Love
Tears will be my song,
Tonight,
I am but flesh and blood and I must sleep,
Goodbye for so long the love of my heart,
Till we meet again in the jungles and paradise.
